Ann Scoutaris

Ann Scoutaris, a generous and faithful soul, passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 97. Born on December 16, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, Ann lived a long and fulfilling life in Chicago for the majority of her life. She was a resident of Bridgeway Senior Living Nursing Home in Bensenville, Illinois, at the time of her passing.

Ann was the beloved wife of the late George Scoutaris; loving mother of Marc, Steven, and Nick Scoutaris; dear daughter of the late Constantine & Helen Dagres; caring sister of the late Georgia (William) Patsouris; and fond friend of many.

Ann had a passion for knitting, cooking, crafts, and movies, which brought joy to her and those around her. Her hobbies reflected her creative spirit and her love for sharing her talents with others.

A Greek Orthodox Visitation will be held on December 23, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Chapel at Elmwood Cemetery, located at 2905 N Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171. Following the visitation, a Greek Orthodox Funeral Service will take place from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at the same chapel.

Her Greek Orthodox Committal & Interment will be held from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Elmwood Cemetery and Mausoleum, also located at 2905 N Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171.

Ann will be remembered for her generosity and faithfulness, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and creativity.
