Aurora T Gold, born December 26, 1926, Valladolid Negros Occidental, Philippines She passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Journey Care Hospice Care. She is the daughter of the late Pilar and Natalio, sister to 5 brothers and 3 sisters, and wife of loving husband of 65 years to Ilumuinado. She is the mother of Tita (Robert), Adam (Tamara), Nena (James), and Brenda (Mark); grandmother of Melody (Hutch), Nathan, Rachel, Jazmin, Justine, Devin, JamesIV, and Aleyah; great grandmother of Logan, Selena, Emily, and Isaac; aunt to many nieces and nephews

Aurora was truly a fighter. Any obstacles that came her way she had overcome. From her early years her husband and she made a life with their four children. She enjoyed cooking and took pleasure in entertaining with family. One of Aurora's favorite past times was going to the casino. She lived an enjoyable life.

We loved you dearly in lilfe; let us not forget her after death.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 N Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60625.

The funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 am on Thursday December 22, 2016 Interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery.
