Betty Patricia Anderson

Beloved wife of the late Kenneth J. Anderson, devoted mother of Tina Marie (David) Olson, very proud and loving grandmother of Nathaniel Jay, Hannah Marie, and Lilly Lynn Olson. Dear sister of Joy Ippolito, Linda (the late Barney) Maples, and Barbara (William) Schneider. Fond aunt of many.

Preceded in death by parents Louise Marie Johnson (nee Richter) and Rudolph John Johnson, Sr. and by siblings Bertha (the late Howard) Gandy, James (the late Judith) Rhoten, and Rudolph (partner Mike Wasilewski).

After graduating from St. Patrick High School, Betty worked for many years at the currency exchange at Diversey and Clark until she had her daughter. Later she worked as a Saturday morning server at Broadway Mike’s restaurant in Lakeview, (owned by her brother-in-law Mike Wasilewski).

Visitation Thursday, June 16, 4-8pm (prayer service 7pm) at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago, IL 60625. Friday morning prayers 9am, followed by interment at Rosehill Cemetery.
