He is survived by his two sons, Phu (Christina) Lu and Thomas Lu; and three grandchildren, Charlotte, Liam and James Lu.
Boi was preceded in death by his wife Bao Chinh Lu.
A visitation for Boi will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 North Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60625. A burial will occur at Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 N Ravenswood Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60660.
