Cathryn Carol McIlvain

Cathy is survived by her loving siblings Peggy (Tanya Johnson) Howard, James (Ginny) McIlvain, III, Timothy (Mary), Michael (Lynn), and John (Jackie Pilossoph) McIlvain. Cathy is also survived by her loving caregiver Monica Bhalai. Cathy was the adoring aunt of Danny (Rose) Howard, Patrick Howard, Ryan Howard, Kevin (Kelly) Howard, Caitlin Howard (Danny Ramsey), Mary Carol, Jimmy IV McIlvain, Meggin (Quin) Haase, Michael McIlvain Jr, Elaina, Johnny Jr, Caroline McIlvain, and a great aunt to many.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Carol and James McIlvain, Jr. Cathy was also preceded in death by her dear sister-in-law Terri and beloved nephew Timothy McIlvain, Jr.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 9 - 10 am at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 North Western Avenue, Chicago, IL 60625. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 5545 North Paulina Avenue, Chicago, IL 60640. A burial will follow at St. Henry Catholic Cemetery, 1929 West Devon Avenue, Chicago, IL 60660.
