Concetta Mary DeGrazio, age 86, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Loving daughter of the late Mary (Walter) Konwent and Jeff “John” Czernek.
Concetta was the devoted and most loving mother of Dawn (Patrick Schmidt) DeGrazio, Salvatore (Noreen) DeGrazio, Vincent (Bobbi) DeGrazio, and the late April (John) Chawula. She was the cherished grandmother of Anne, Kathy, Charlie, Jessica, Nicholas, Joseph, Christopher, Stephanie, Christina, Johnny, Ashley, and Derek, and the most adoring great-grandmother of many.
She was the beloved sister of Geraldine (the late Mike) Messina, Barbara (the late Greg) Lachel, and Christine (Vern) Fasse; an unforgettable aunt, a caring cousin, and a dear friend to many whose lives she touched with kindness, laughter, and warmth.
Concetta’s life was rooted in love for her family. She will be remembered for her strength, her generous spirit, and the joy she brought into every gathering. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
