Danuta Kurek, age 78, was born in Porąbka Uszewska, Poland on January 16, 1946, shortly after the end of World War II, and she passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024. Danuta was the loving wife of the late Kazimierz Kurek; most loving mother of Marzena (Waclaw) Dadej, Dariusz (Agata) Kurek, and Evelina Wisniewski; adoring grandmother of Inez Dadej, Gabriela Kurek, Adrian Wisniewski, and Darian Wisniewski; beloved sister of Genowefa Olszak, Janina Stypka, and the late Czeslaw Batko; dear daughter of the late Michal & Aniela Batko; unforgettable aunt; caring cousin; and fond friend of many.
Danuta's Visitation will be on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 4 PM to 8 PM; and Final Viewing Friday, August 9, 2024 at 8:30 AM at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 W. Belmont Avenue, Chicago, IL 60634; Mass of Christian Burial, 10 AM on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Saint Francis Borgia Church, 8033 W. Addison Street, Chicago, IL 60634; Christian Burial will follow immediately after at Saint Adalbert Cemetery, 6800 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Niles, IL 60714.
