Fond grandfather of 18; dearest great grandfather of 8; dear son of the late Walter and the late Anna nee Reeves Ransom. Devoted brother of Rosemary (the late Michael) Marconi and Paul Ransom. Fond uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Mr. Ransom was a member of the Christian Congregation Church. Funeral services Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 at 11 AM at The Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago IL 60634. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday Feb. 18, 2015 from 3 PM - 9 PM.
