David's friends in the balcony at First Presbyterian Evanston were blessed to have worshiped with him. The days that his wonderful arrangements were performed at our service were even more special.  He will be missed, but his music will always keep him with us. Our prayers go out to his family.

My condolences to the Smart family. I spent many years enjoying Dave's ministry in music at Messiah Lutheran Church. My parent's deeply loved both Dave and Grace.
