David Edward Thalhammer

David Edward Thalhammer, age 52, of Park Ridge, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. A true Chicagoan at heart, David had a deep love for his Chicago Cubs, the Bears, and all things sports, always cheering for his teams with passion. When he wasn't sporting his favorite team’s gear, you could find him enjoying music tunes.

David had a unique personality — goofy, fun-loving, and always ready to make those around him smile. He had a special place in his heart for his phone, which he used to stay connected with loved ones, and his love for both his dirt bike and four-wheel vehicles, bringing him joy and excitement on the open road.

Above all, David was devoted to his family. He was the beloved son of Judy Thalhammer and the late Edward Thalhammer, a loving brother to Kim (Mike) Thalhammer Warren, Dawn (Craig) Wright, and Tara Thalhammer. David was a proud and devoted father to Bryanna Thalhammer and Madison Thalhammer. His caring and goofy nature will be remembered by his cherished girlfriend of five years, Karen Suleiman, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

David will be greatly missed for his joyful spirit, his unwavering love for his family, and his infectious enthusiasm for life.

A visitation for David will take place on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home. The celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, located at 6000 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646.
