He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Liwayway Dimalanta.
Eduardo is survived by three beloved children Jude Dimalanta, Marilou Dimalanta, and Eutiquiano Dimalanta, his three adoring grandchildren Erin Dimalanta-Flaviano, Sergio Dimalanta, and Antonio Dimalanta, and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A visitation for Eduardo is scheduled for Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 4-8PM at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, 60625. A funeral mass will then occur on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St.Hilary/St. Padre Pio Catholic Church, 5600 N Fairfield Ave, Chicago, IL 60659. Burial will then follow at Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 N. Ravenswood Ave., Chicago, IL, 60660.
