Joshua was brought to life on August 4th of 1979. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. His roots were Puerto Rican and he was proud of it.

Joshua, beloved son of Janette and Edward, father to Jailene , Julie, Julian & Gisselle. Fiance to the love of his life Leanne and brother of Julio, Jayson and Daisy.

Joshua, better known as Josh was a charismatic, and loving individual- his character in him gained the love and respect from many people around him. He was open-minded and sympathetic to others, he accepted everyone just for who they were. Joshua was a simple man, he enjoyed cooking, throwing back some ice cold beer and having a cigar, collecting gym shoes and full-fitted hats but most of all he was about spending time with the family-a true family man. Joshua was positive and wanted the best for his family, and for his future. He focused his life not only on working to strive for a better future but he lived more in the present. He was comical, and quick with his jokes about everyone and everything. It was never, ever a dull moment when Josh was around, he loved to laugh and make us all laugh too. If affectionate had a image, it be Josh's face. Josh expressed his affection and love to his growing kids, and to his treasured fiance Leanne whom he treated as gold. He was just so full of LIFE, full of laughter and love. He will forever be remembered...

Visitation Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 3-8pm at Montclair- Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 W. Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634. Funeral Service at the funeral home on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 11am. Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, IL.

With respect to State of Illinois Guidelines of Phase 4 during this time of COVID-19 pandemic, the visitation is limited to 50 people at a time, we ask those attending to please keep one's visit brief to allow all to attend. All visitors entering the funeral home are required to wear a face covering.
