Edward Francis Urban

Edward Francis Urban, age 76, United States Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. He was born in Chicago on June 25, 1947, and born into eternity on January 14th, 2024. Edward was the most loving husband of Norma J. Urban; loving father of Roseann Shell, James (Marla) Shell, Karen (Mike) Powers, Amy (Mike) Herzog, and Edward (Chevon) Urban; adoring grandfather of Taylor (Johnathan) Hamlet, Katelyn Swallow, Connor Swallow, Reagan Swallow, Emily Shell, Rachel Powers, Kayla Powers, Casey Shell, Ethan Herzog, Madalyn Urban, Dylan Urban, and Matthew Herzog; most great-grandfather of Walker Hamlet, and Hazel Hamlet; dear son of the late Edward & Wanda Urban; beloved brother of Mary (Robert) Semple; unforgettable uncle; caring cousin; and fond friend of many.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Edward that will be held Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, West Wing Venue, 6901 West Belmont Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60634. A final visitation will occur Wednesday, January 24th, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, 6901 West Belmont Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60634. A Celebration of Life Service will occur Wednesday, January 24th, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, 6901 West Belmont Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60634. A Committal Service with Military Funeral Honors will occur Wednesday, January 24th, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 West Hoff Road, Elwood, Illinois 60421.
