Elizabeth Marie Middendorf

Celebration of life will be held at a future date.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary; her children, Ethan, Anastasia (Peyton) and Olivia; her parents, Karen and Gary Daggett Sr.; her siblings, Gary (Shekika) Daggett Jr. and Christina Daggett; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends.

Liz was an educator for over 20 years, most recently at the Academy for Global Citizenship charter school in Chicago. She was a teacher outside of the classroom, as well, always eager to share her love and knowledge of nature, even with people she did not know. Liz was an organizer for the Blue Island community garden and loved camping. A member of the Chicago Church of Christ Southland Ministry Center, Liz was deeply spiritual with an unwavering faith. She was selfless, creative, giving and a loving wife, mom, daughter and sibling. Liz will be missed by all who knew her. She made the world a better place.
