Emily, I got to meet you once a few years back hanging out with Kathy and a group of friends, and the way you walked in with your dogs was adorable and a picture I will keep forever. I wish I could've experienced more of what others have written of you. It has been a delight to see over social media all the adventures and trips you were able to go to in your short time here. My condolences to your family and may you now continue to watch over them.

Emily was and is so loved by many people, including myself.  She will continue to be missed and loved and all the memories will forever be cherished.

Emily was such a genuine soul with a pure heart and it was hard for someone not to love her. She was such a joy to be around with and  always knew how to make people smile. Her sassy personality definitely shone through just like the star she always was.

Emily had the sweetest smile. Even after everything she went through she always showed how strong and brave she was and never forgot to smile and that's something I'll always admire about her.

I remember this was the first time I celebrated Emily's birthday with you guys. When it was time for presents she had sat down and started opening them. When it got to Kathy's gift, she opened it and pulled out a box of utensils and  she was not thrilled about that lol but she opened the box and pulled out a  bag and instantly smiled when she realized it was the red iPhone.

It was an honor and pleasure knowing Emily these past few years. Thank you for sharing her with me and allowing me to make memories with her through the years. I'll forever cherish those memories and always. She was a bright star that lit up any room with her beautiful smile and personality.  She was kind , sweet, funny, loveable, and over all an amazing person.  She always made me feel so welcomed . Emily will be dearly missed and will forever have a place in my heart. I love you Emily 💖

Emily, we will always remember you at KEEN Chicago. Emily was a participant for over ten years and had a special live for swimming and bowling. She had many friends in our group and will always be remembered fondly. We were so sorry to hear of this loss and are sending condolences to family and friends.

On this day Emily was crowned Prom Queen at Easterseals, a testament to her unwavering spirit and determination. She radiated beauty and confidence, eager to share her momentous occasion with the entire school, proudly wearing her wedges. I said Emily, take a moment to rest and conserve your energy, but she replied, No, let's capture this moment together, and I couldn't be prouder of you, Emily. You are a shining example of resilience, intelligence, and fashion, an amazing individual who has inspired me as one of your teachers. You taught me the value of strength and perseverance without even realizing it, helping me through challenging days in room 252. Thank you for affectionately calling me Shorty, you will always be my Emmy.

Love you Emily, thank you for always bringing a smile to our faces. You taught me so much in such a small time. You were one of the strongest individuals that I knew, you showed me that no matter how many times you fall you just get up fight and keep going . Thank you for being such an amazing soul I was and will always be proud to say you were my little cousin.

Emily, you’ll always be forever in my heart. I remember those times where you’d always make me laugh everytime I came over and when we went to six flags together. I will forever miss you.

I remember how excited I was when I found out you were born just one day before my birthday. As we grew up, year by year, you taught me to appreciate the small things in life. You truly lived life the way it was meant to be lived—with joy, kindness, and a heart free of hate. No matter what challenges came your way, you always carried a smile and embraced every moment to the fullest.
You lived such a pure and genuine life, and there is no doubt you earned your place beside the man upstairs. I like to think you’re already finding all the best places up there, getting everything ready so that one day, when we’re together again, you can show us around.
The Lord chose to take you from us on the same day as Chuck Norris. Coincidence? I don’t think so. I believe He needed one of His strongest angels by His side. That’s who you were—strong, kind, and full of light.
You will always hold a special place in our hearts. Your spirit, your laughter, and your love for life will never be forgotten. Until we meet again, may you rest peacefully and continue to shine.

I will cherish every memory that I had with Emily

Emily it’s going to be hard not having you around anymore. All the family gatherings won’t be the same without you I'm going to miss your fun and energetic presence. You never cared what anyone thought and enjoyed yourself wherever you went. I love you Emily and I’ll always miss you.
