James William Suchinski

James W. Suchinski passed away suddenly on Christmas morning. He was a longtime resident of Evergreen Park, Illinois. James was a loving and devoted husband to wife Rosario and a proud father to his children Michael and Ingrid. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ellen. He is survived by his sister Terese Escalona, brother John Suchinski (Marcie), Julie Suchinski and Joyce Sutkus and was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He honorably served 23 years in the United States Army, Medical Corps, dedicating his career to the care and service of others. Outside of his service and career in the medical field, James found joy in cheering on the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears, and he especially loved his dogs, who were a constant source of comfort and companionship. His commitment, compassion and strength will always be remembered by those who loved him.

A visitation will be held at Andrew J McGann & Son Funeral Home on Friday January 2, 2026 from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 3, 2026 at 10:30am located at Queen of Martyrs at St Gianna Parish, 10233 S. Central Park Ave., Evergreen Park, IL 60805. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803.
