For many years now Jan has been in some kind of physical pain each and every day. What sustained her and kept her strong was her love of her family.

Though Jan had many friends, Jan's four best friends were always her four sisters. Karen especially would call her every day and always be there for her.  Thank you Karen for the infinite love you gave Jan. I want you to know the love she had for you was also infinite.

Our daughter Sarah also meant everything to Jan.  Jan was always looking at pictures of Sarah and her three babies on her cell phone.

Jan loved visiting Sarah in Ohio where she lived.  She loved going shopping with Sarah and doing simple mother-daughter things with Sarah. Nothing gave her more pleasure. And of course she loved seeing Sarah's three babies who were the world to her.

Jan also loved seeing her son Peter,  When she would see Peter she would glow for days.

But there was one person who Jan loved with her whole heart and soul. And that person loved her back with his whole heart and soul. That person was me. Jan, you were my true love and I will love you forever.

So Jan, you need not worry about the pain anymore.  Everyone here loves you. I love you forever and ever.  You are my true love.  I love you forever.

Jan was kind, caring and selfless.  I could not have asked for a better mother-in-law or better grandmother to my children.  I will miss her greatly.

Janet went to her heavenly home  2/15/17 at 11:15 pm!! I really thought she was getting better!! She always did before!! She was the best sister ever born and I will miss her!! She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything!! Her memory will be kept alive through them as time goes on!!  I am thankful for my sister Janet!!!

Our deepest sympathy to all of Jan's family and friends from her cousins in Venice, Florida. We can all take a lesson form Jan. Jan was a positive person with a positive attitude. She was also a fighter as well. Because of her illnesses, her body might have been weak, but her mind and spirit was strong.  With her positive and fighting spirit, she would get through anything. May we all pray, in our own way that may God protect and keep her so that can all meet with her in a better time and a better place.

Jan's perseverance in the face of her physical challenges was truly heroic.  I never heard her complain about it.  She was an inspiration.  What a good, kind soul she was.  I know she is in a better place.  Her family in Columbus will miss her dearly.

Your cousins in Oregon send our heartfelt sympathy. Jan was an amazing woman, whose love of life and adventurous spirit radiated in her smiles. We are so glad to have spent time together in Oregon and will cherish those memories forever. Hers was a life well lived. With our love and deep condolences to Barry, the kids and family.....

Janet has been through a lot over the years...I really admired her strength through it all. She was a kind and interesting woman. I will miss chatting with her at the Peresin family gatherings. Love, blessings and heartfelt sympathy to her family.

Jan was a special person and a positive role model She was a good listener.She was a decent,honest person.My sincere condolences to Jan's family.

My big sister with all her medical issues was so strong. If only she had no health issues I'm sure she would have lived beyond 100. She sparked my interest in world travel and family history, I will think of her every day. Love
