I have not seen Juan in many years and just today (in 2016) have learned of his passing and instant tears filled my eyes and my heart is broken for all that knew him.  I never remember seeing him without a smile, I never seen him cross toward anyone.  He was a kind and gentle person and is now a kind and gentle Soul.  I feel blessed for having known him.

Juan and I were pretty good friends throughout high school. We became closer our senior year and after high school but lost track of him after he went to the Army. He was a great friend. Will never forget him.

Richie, you will always be in my thoughts and heart.   You have been such a wonderful friend for so many, many years, and such a kind and caring roommate. It isn't often in life you meet someone so genuine, kind and funny. Juan was one of the most positive people I have ever met. Always with a smile or joke. A bright spot in what can sometimes be a stressful and  difficult  environment to work in. We at O.E.M.C have lost a true friend. You will never be forgotten and we will all miss you everyday.

Rich, Thank you for being part of my life. I am blessed for having you as my nephew,  brother and friend.  I love you until we meet again.

Rich, I have no clue what to say.  As kids we never think the time will come when we have to say goodbye to one of our friends.  We were indestructible and nothing could ever happen to us.  You are one of the last people I ever though I'd be writing in an Obituary to.  A true friendship is being able to start where you left off no matter how long it's been.  You were one of those people.  It could be 2 years since I last saw you and walk right up to you and you'd give me the biggest hug like we just saw each other yesterday. God sure does take the good ones early.  I just wish he would have taken you later.  I'm happy we got to talk a few times over the last few months.  I wish there was something I could have done.  It was an honor to know you.  I'll remember all the great times we had over the past 23 years.  You've left a lot of sad people here on earth.  Until we meet again.  Love you, Richie.
