Karen A. Pavlak

Karen A. Pavlak (nee Murray) beloved wife of Frank A. Pavlak. Loving mother of Christopher A. Pavlak. Dear sister of Mary (Thomas) McCarthy of Oak Forest, IL., Kathleen (the late Jerry) McAloon of Evergreen Park, IL., Dolores Beirne of Tucson, AZ., and John Murray of Evergreen Park, IL. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Karen is preceded in death by her loving parents John F. and Lois Murray, as well as her loving brother Terrence Murray and loving sister Florence Murray.

Karen was a graduate of SIU at Carbondale with a degree in education. She was a dedicated speech teacher for the Chicago Public Schools and a part time employee of Geiss & Crossen Monument Company.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 17, 2026, from 4-8 PM at the Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home 10727 S. Pulaski Rd. Chicago, IL 60655.

Funeral service will be Saturday, April 18, 2026, with 9:30 AM prayers from the Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home 10727 S. Pulaski Rd. Chicago, IL 60655, going to St. Catherine of Alexandria Church 10621 S. Kedvale Ave. Oak Lawn, IL 60453 for mass at 10:00 AM.

Interment following will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery located at 6001 W. 111th St. Alsip, IL 60803.
