Long was born March 1st 1945. Long is survived by his wife of 46 years, Tuyet T. Tran; his daughter Linh T.K. Nguyen-Humphrey & husband Scott F. Humphrey; daughter Theresa T. Ho; daughter Trang T. Huynh & husband Peter N. Huynh; son Minh D. Nguyen & wife Linda L. Nguyen; grandchildren Heather T. Nguyen, Kevin T. Nguyen, Summer M. Humphrey, Lauren P. Ho, Andrew D. Ho, Benjamen H. Huynh. Ethan H. Huynh, Owen H. Huynh, Taylor T. Boutmahavong, Emily T. Nguyen, and Lucas Q. Nguyen.
Long was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He was a devout catholic and spent his days volunteering at St. Henry. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
The wake will be held at Drake & Son Funeral Home at 5303 N. Western Ave. on Tuesday, May 3rd from 4-9PM. Funeral services will be held at Saint Henry Parish, at 6325 N. Hoyne Ave., on Wednesday, May 4th at 10AM. Burial at Maryhill Cemetery at 8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL.
