Martin G. Finn

Born on May 14, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, Martin was the beloved son of Vincent Finn I and Mary Diegel. Martin was the beloved husband of Christine Finn for 44 years.

Marty was an avid sports fan, with a lifelong passion for his hometown teams: the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings, and Lions. After moving to Chicago, Marty extended his love of sports to include the Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks. Marty will be remembered for his sociable, friendly, and humorous nature, which brightened the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

Marty is survived by his loving children, William Finn, Nickolas Finn, and Amanda Finn. Marty was also a cherished grandfather to Emily, Asher, Anna, Maxwell, and Abigail. Martin was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Finn. Marty is also survived by his dear siblings, Patricia Finn, Vincent Finn II, Mary Ellen Zmudzinski, Margaret Mulcrone, and Gerralynn Auger.

Funeral Arrangements:

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home (6000 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646).
