Mama Thanksgiving was very difficult for all of us.. I made your favorites your delicious sage stuffing and marshmallow mandarian orange salad. pumpkin pies 4 this year.  Through tears I read your special recipes .. as I made the turkey stuffing toasting bread and chopping onions and celery .I knew I could not  have Brenton bring you home so   you could advice and taste test . an empty  place was where you would sit.. awaited. Miss you Mama.. and  now Christmas is here...Cameron and I got a beautiful Frazier Fir  it  is beautiful.. Cameron has had 2 beautiful concerts.he is now apart of the kankakee Valley Symphony Orchestra .last night he  played beautifully on his violin . Christmas songs .you would be so proud of him.. lots of firsts without you Mama.. trying to keep traditions going and keep your spirit with us always.. love, you so much Mama.. Susan Louise.

Well Mom,
Its been a long hard road for you and through it all you suffered in silence. I learned alot from you and can never thank you enough for those giftts from the heart. I can't wrap my head around all of this yet and still can't believe I wont be seeing you for a long time. I selfishly wanted to keep you here forever but I know you have been ill and in pain for many years so I thank Jesus for bringing you home to rest. You are a one of a kind Mom with a gentle spirit and I hope I can carry your goodness in me always and make you proud. Thank you for my spiritual up bringing, and all those times when I was little that you took the time to sit in the back yard under the big Oak tree and read the bible to me, Susan, John, Kristin and Scott. You are a wonderful Mother !

Mama, we  talked saturday about my garden and seeng my humming bird flck emerald green wth ruby throat.. and my phlox lavender,whte and pink, deep purple and  fushia mrnng glories and moss roses,  yellow,orange,pink star burst. N MY old  wagon red . Light houses 2 that wk at nght red and black candy cane striped... but I think God had a different adventure in mind....                   Gods garden must be so amazng MAMA... yOU can nOw  walk un aided with an angel as a tour guide.. you probably need to borrw a pair of sunglasses., from scotty.. the colors so amazing brighter then I can imagine.. I Love You Mama..Your free from pain... n.o wheelchair, no crippled hands or feet..you can eat and you can swollow food without choking.. maybe the have chinese food, shrimp eggfoo.. crab ragu...What a feast Mama.. and your beautiful voice.. will now be heard agaln beyond a soft raspy tuff of air.. saturday was so difficult.. You and I go through the food test to see if you can eat finally .besides ice chips..so u finaly got apple sauce/ pills too.. then orange sherbert.. so happy foooood you mouthed. supper potato soup. creamy.. Italian ice/rasberry sherbert. cheese cake... Pleasure foods.. had n food since week end before.. thrush  we found in your sweet mouth.. so tender /painful... God is spoiling...you !!!   Enjoy!!!!....Love you.. say hello to Gram, Aunt Annette, Scotty, Dad, uncle Bill..what a party!!!!
