She was an avid bowler and golfer, playing in the St. Linus Golf and Bowling Leagues. She enjoyed painting, making crafts and crocheting. She crocheted beautiful blankets and afghans not only for her family, but donated many of them as part of the St. Linus Crochet Group. Phyllis was a member of the St. Xavier Alumni Club (‘49’ers) and a dedicated volunteer at Advocate Christ Hospital for 15 years. Her fondest past time, however, was spending time with her family, sharing joy in her own children’s and grandchildrens’ accomplishments throughout the years.
