Rizalino U. Calo Jr

Rizalino ‘Riz’ Uy Calo Jr. was born on June 19, 1941 in Mandaluyong City in the Philippines to Rizalino Dumaplin Calo Sr. and Vicenta Miguel Uy Calo. He attended Mapa High School and graduated from the University of the East with a degree in accounting.

A faithful Catholic and longtime member of Immaculate Conception, Rizalino found strength in prayer and the Sacraments. He was known for his kindness, quiet generosity, and steady presence to all who knew him.

Rizalino is survived by his wife Rhodora ‘Doris’ Valdez Calo, his son Gene and siblings Edgar, Evelyn Morales, Oscar, Nannette Cunanan, Wilson, Ferdinand and Ronald. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Carlos ‘Sonny’ Calo.

Visitation will be held on Sunday December 28, 2025 from 4-8pm at Drake & Son Funeral Home at 5303 N Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60625. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 29 at 10am at St. Padre Pio Parish at 5600 N Fairfield Ave, Chicago, IL 60659 followed by interment at Rosehill Cemetery.
