Ruth Lillian Buehler, age 83, was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 4, 1941, and suddenly passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Ruth was the beloved daughter of the late Carl & Frieda Buehler; most loving sister of Lorraine Buehler.
Ruth Lillian Buehler was Baptized and Confirmed at St. James Lutheran Church. She Faithfully attended Sunday School and was active in the youth group and choir. Upon membership at Trinity Lutheran Church she again was in the choir, was in the Altar Guild, taught Sunday School and became Sunday School Superintendent. She was very active in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and was an officer. In an adult Lutheran group she was often head of the service committee. She contacted nursing homes to have her group sing at holidays. At one employer she organized Christmas food and clothing collections that were donated to the Pacific Garden Mission. She enjoyed travel and attending community festivals. Upon retirement she volunteered at St. Cyprian Food Pantry. While residing at The Pearl of Montclare she made many friends.
