Just read that my dear friend Sue has passed away, this saddens me deeply. My fondest memory is when we would be at her house and some of the boys from Lawrence Hall would come there and we would all play poker and I really didn't know the game, but I would always win, and I didn't even know what I had in my hand. Good times, I will truly miss her, and am sorry we did not get together. I hadn't been in touch with her for a long time, until her mom Marie passed, that was the first time in about 55yrs. May God bless her and keep her in his loving hands.

Sorry to hear of Suzanne's passing. I had the occasion to visit with her often in recent years. Was able to spend some time Reminiscing about my wife working for her at the NU bursar's office, football trips, basketball games, etc. I'm glad she and my wife were able to Catch up on old times and good times. Morgan and I will certainly miss her.

Suzanne, I still have the vase of "roses" made of carefully folded dollar bills that you created for me when I left NU.  (And of course they had purple leaves.)  I'm sure Karl and Ed welcomed you with open arms when you arrived.

Sue you are truly a remarkable woman who will greatly be missed thanks for your friendship your hospitality god bless rest in peace.

I am going to miss you, Aunt Sue. Thanksgivings, Easters, football and basketball games, even a Rose Bowl trip together! I know you loved me, "your teeny, weeny pie maker" and I loved you too. Your mom and dad, my grandma and grandpa, and Charlie surely greeted you with open arms and big hugs when got to where you all are now! Thank you for a lifetime of memories and stories.

I just returned home and received word of Suzanne's passing and I am beyond words.  I am saddened and heart broken. We met a long time ago through Northwestern and our connections. She was always honest, loyal, very funny, and we both would always talk about who we missed at Northwestern, like Arnie Weber.  I also think her blood was purple (Northwestern)! You will be so missed by team and especially myself. May you rest in peace and my deepest condolences to Suzanne's family.

We lost a wonderful person and dear friend in Suzanne.  She loved attending Northwestern Wildcat games and did not miss many.  Even when she was sick she went to Florida to see her 'Cats in the Outback Bowl. She had a great sense of humor. She was extremely generous, always thinking about others. Sue and Marie are in Wildcat Heaven together.
We will miss her. Rest in Peace Susie.

I've lost one of my dearest life long friends who I will miss very much.  Suzanne and I were friends for 35 years and yes I did work in the Bursar's Office many years ago.  Suzanne taught me so much, she was always a mentor to me.  So glad I got to spend some time with her the week prior to her death.  Rest in Peace my dear friend, Love Daphne Morton

Suzanne reported to me for a dozen years at Northwestern University. I kept in touch with her since I left Northwestern 20 years ago.
