

Vince worked in the beer industry as a driver/salesman for over 40 years’ after retiring he enjoyed gardening’ spending time with his family and friends in his walking group’ he was heavily involved in the judo community since 1968’ he was a avid pet lover’ especially to his favorite the Collie named Molly’ loved spending time with his grandkids’ telling his corny jokes that always got a laugh no matter how many times he told it’ he enjoyed talking to the neighbors that were walking their dog as he watered his lawn ‘ he knew the names of every dog in the neighborhood’ he was quick to help you out in any situation always ready to lend a helping hand’ Vince lived his life to the fullest always giving more than taking’ everyone that knew him has a story that will bring a smile to your face’ and he knew a lot of people from different generations ‘ Rest in peace' PaPa you will be missed!
Vincent is survived by his seven loving children, Patrick, Kathleen (Paul) Bezazian, MaryAnn, John, Sheila (Peter) Hertl, Ellen (Frank) Hager, and James O’Malley; his adoring 24 grandchildren; his cherished 18 great-grandchildren; his beloved siblings Owen O’Malley and Agnes Curtain. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years Eleanore M. O’Malley (2014); his loving daughter Maureen O’Malley; his parents; and his sister Patricia Meade.
A visitation for Vincent will be held on Monday, February 3 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 North Western Avenue, Chicago, IL 60625. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 4 at 10 AM at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, 1420 West Granville Avenue, Chicago, IL 60660
