Virginia Rose Davis

Virginia R. Davis, 101, passed away at home on the morning of February 3, 2021. Beloved wife if the late George Davis. Adoring mother to Florence (Michael) Latorre and Virginia Rose Ovington. Cherished grandmother to Veronica, Joa, Kimberly, Ronald, Tracy, Kristina, Nicholas and Virginia Ann; great grandmother to Melanie, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Michael, Zachary, Joseph, Alyssa and Nicholas; great-great grandmother to Emmalyn and Dean. Loving aunt to Rosemary and Phillip. She is predeceased by her parents Rosario "John" and Rose Caccamo, her siblings Sam and Phillip, her sons Ronald, Donald, George Jr and Vernon; as well as her grandson Georgie.

She was a music enthusiast who enjoyed Patsy Cline and Elvis Presley. She was an avid reader of newspapers and tabloids. She enjoyed visiting the casino, her favorite was playing slots. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren who meant the world to her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 W Belmont Ave, Chicago from 10am - 12pm. Funeral service will be conducted at 12pm. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
