William J Riley

William J. Riley passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at the age of 92 years old. He was a wonderful husband to his beloved late wife, Justine Riley and loving father to Susan (Robert) Marvin, Bill Riley and Janice Zwolfer. He was a cherished grandfather to Michele Marvin, Chloe Zwolfer, Zach Zwolfer, Bob (Jennifer) Marvin, Ryan (Michelle) Marvin and Drew (Julieanne) Marvin. William was also an amazing great-grandfather to Connor and Ciara Marvin, Roman and Rose Marvin, and Stiles and Sanders Marvin. He was a brother-in-law to Alicia (Peter) Uliasz, the late Robert Wielgus and the late Diane (Edward) VanVolkinburg, an uncle to Peter Uliasz, the late Greg Uliasz, Cathy Uliasz, Kim (Raul) Wolf Garcia and Ed VanVolkinburg Jr., a great-uncle to Makenna Wolf as well as a friend to so many. William had a heart of gold and lived a life full of joy. He will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.

A visitation will be held at Queen of All Saints Basilica, located at 6280 N Sauganash Ave, Chicago, IL 60646, on January 2, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am. This will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the same location at 10:00 am.

Interment will take place at St Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, Niles IL.
