

Mrs. Frances Glynn Campbell Reeder age 92 died Sunday April 8, 2012 at Sylacauga Health and Rehab. She was born December 31, 1919 in Waycross, Ga. and was the Tenth of Eleven children born to Curtis Alexander Cambell and Bernice McKenzie Campbell. Her husband Howard F. Reeder died in 1994. She lived in Childersburg 66 years after moving their in 1946. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Childersburg. She was one of many ladies who cooked speghetti and sold vanilla flavoring to help finance the existing church building. She was also active in her children's school and other activities. She completed the licensed practical nursing course at N.F. Nunnelley State Technical College (Now Cental Alabama Community College) in 1968. She worked at Sylacauga Hospital (Now Coosa Valley Medical Center) for many years. Survivors are Four Children; Emmett Reeder of Hartselle, Al; Glenda Bryant of LaGrange, Ga; Jim (Cathy) Reeder of Stuart, Fl; Barbara Levesque of Arlington, Tx. One Brother; Earl Campbell of Waycross, Ga. Five Grandchildren; Laure (Tim) Fleming of Daphne, Al, Leesa (Guy) Goodenough of Pflugerville, Tx; Chris (Heather) Levesque of Tuscaloosa, Al; Kinberly Reeder of Port St. Lucie, Fl; Meredith (Wesley) Voorhees of Muscle Shoals, Al; Four Great Grandchildren, Jacob and Lance Voorhees of Muscle Shoals, Al; Charlie Nelson of Port St. Lucie, Fl; and Leo Goodenough of Pflugerville, Tx. Funeral services for Mrs. Reeder will be held on Thursday April 12, 2012 at 2PM at the Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel.
