Funeral service for James Robert Sims, age 72, of Childersburg will be Monday, November 9, 2015 at 1PM at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with the Reverend Paul Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery. Mr. Sims worked as a mechanic , then went to work for Avondale where he retired. He is survived by his wife: Mary Sims; Daughter: Karen Sims; Sons: Bruce Sims and Richard Sims; Sisters: Mammie Rozell and Alice Mitchell; Brother: Luther Sims and Granddaughter: Brandi Sims.
