Mr. Matthew Lavell Ward age 37 of Alpine, Al passed at his residence on May 23, 2010. Funeral Services for Mr. Ward will be on Thursday May 27, 2010 at 2PM at Trinity Baptist Church. Visitation will be on Wednesday May 26, 2010 from 5-8PM at the Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. Burial will be in Vincent City Cemetery. Rev. Chuck Kornegay and Rev. George Woods will be officiating the service. Survivors are Brother; Coley and Lisa Ward of Alpine, Sister; Charlotte and Tony Butler of Sylacauga. Nieces; Kelcey and Elizabeth Ward. Nephew; Matthew Butler. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He worked at Southern Alloy for nine and a half years and he loved the outdoors. Pallbearers will be friends of the family. Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel will direct the service.
