Ed is survived by his wife Hilda, of 12 years. His son Ric (Charlene), his daughter Bonnie (Mike), grandchildren Sean (Ashley), Joel (Carolyn), Marc (Kim), Scott, Traci (Travis), Aaron (Becca), Jared (Danika), Amy (Andrew), and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his first wife of 50 years, Erna, His son Ken, Daughter-in-Law Cindy and all but one of his siblings.
Ed spent most of his years as a part owner and millwright at Vedder River Shake and Shingle, and later worked at Streifel Industries. He was always proud of his family and loved the time he spent with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Ed will be held November 9 at 3pm Chilliwack Alliance Church at 8700 Young Rd Chilliwack.
