Barb lived a full life. Born in Newfoundland she moved to B.C. at age 5. Vancouver, Hope, Agassiz, and Chilliwack were all called home during her lifetime. Topping out at four foot eight, Barb taught herself to be strong and fiercely independent as well as super protective. She loved a good romance book, cards and lotto, but most of all she loved her family.
Left to mourn her passing are her children John, Rob (Kathi) and Tamara (Rob) as she was predeceased by her daughter Janis.
“Nanny” was a loving Grandmother to ten grandchildren and a proud Great Grandmother to eleven. She will be missed by all her surviving family, both here in B.C. and at home in Newfoundland.
