Christine was predeceased by her parents, Ernestine Flynn and Michael Flynn. She was a loving aunt to Hank Hunter, Penelope Hunter, and Rebecca Baines. Life did not always take her in easy directions, but Christine chose to build her own family through friendship and love. She found that family in her close friends Kristina Ellis, Cassandra Ollenberg, Aly Taylor, Randy Taylor, Katlyn Edworthy, Kendal Bunker, Derek Barrel, and many others who stood by her side and became her home.
Christine is lovingly remembered by her partner, Collin Klassen, who remained by her side through many challenges and cared for her during her decline in health. Their relationship was built on loyalty, comfort, and deep connection. Collin was the “Notebook” love story she waited her whole life for. He was her hero who protected her and made all her dreams come true. He saw her and loved her for who she was, helped her heal within, and solved all her problems. She will be his Pink Dancing Spirit, as their love is always and forever.
Christine was a true free spirit who loved to travel and experience new places in her own way. She valued adventure and following her heart wherever life led. Her dreams of living in Scotland and Ireland came true and along the way, she was able to check off many of her bucket list dreams, embracing excitement and a few unforgettable, daring moments.
Music was a huge part of Christine’s life and a source of comfort, joy, and strength, especially during difficult times. She connected deeply to music on an emotional level, and the artist Stylust held a special place in her heart. His music meant a great deal to her and was something she carried with her through many moments in her life. The highlight of her life was meeting Stylust, who in her final days reached out to her with phone calls, messages, and a heartfelt public tribute that honored her story and strength.
Christine had a deep love for animals and chose to donate her entire estate to the Chilliwack BC SPCA. She now joins her beloved dogs Zoe, Cario, Bacon, Duke, Korona, Lukee, Stella, Bandit, and many other furry friends who brought her so much joy.
Christine will be remembered for her strength, her free spirit, and her big heart.
Forever our Pink Lady.
