Dan passed away in Chilliwack, BC at the age of 81 years.
He was born June 29, 1938 in Duncan, Oklahoma. He was a rancher, an aircraft mechanic, an auto mechanic, a pilot and an aircraft inspector. In his younger years Dan raced cars and worked in the movie industry. Later on, he and his partners operated Duncan Aircraft, a company that manufactured rotary aircraft engines. Dan then went to work for Boeing Aircraft in Everett, Washington. He was there for several years before he retired.
Dan was also a hunter, a fisherman and an outdoor enthusiast. He took a deep interest in a wide variety of subjects about which he would read and research extensively.
He loved his children with all his heart and frequently told stories about their lives growing up - always with a warm smile. Dan will be deeply missed by 6 children, 1 brother, 2 stepchildren, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, many friends and relatives and by his loving wife of 27 years.
