David Wayne Anthony ( Sonny) Bobb

David Wayne Anthony Bobb went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2015 at Seabird Island at the age of 50. Wayne Bobb Jr. (Sonny), middle child, born and survived by Wayne and Donna Bobb as well as his two adoring sisters, Celeste and Valencia Bobb in Vancouver, BC. At age seven they moved to Chilliwack, BC and later moved to Seabird Island where he spent the most years of his life.

Sonny graduated from high school and pursued his dream, graduating from the First Nations Tribal Police, class of 1992. His love of fishing lead him to work proudly for the Sto:lō Fishing Authority. Sonny was a founding member of the Seabird Island Christian Fellowship and was devoted to his family and faith. Blessed with three beautiful children, Sonny was father to two daughters Chelsea Whiteduck-Bobb and Kirsten Whiteduck-Bobb and son Julian Whiteduck-Bobb.

Sonny had many hobbies which he did with his children and family including his love for traveling to various places. He also loved to fish, cook, garden and spend time with loved ones.

Sonny will be forever loved and missed by his enormous family, friends and community. The memories that lie with us will be cherished and a piece of our hearts has left with him. We would like to invite those who knew him to join us for his Prayers on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 7:00 pm at the Seabird Island Band Gym and the Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:00 am also at Seabird Island Gym with lunch to follow. Burial will follow the Service at the Seabird Island Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, Chilliwack, BC.
