Doreen Hazel Brind Denham

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our companion, mom, Nan and friend, Doreen Denham on March 11, 2012 at the Chilliwack General Hospital.

Doreen was born on November 22, 1941 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. After the death of her father, William Brind, her and her mother moved to BC. Living in Deroche with her mother, Hazel and stepfather Howard Hughson, she survived the flood of 1948. Doreen grew up in the Chilliwack area and graduated from Chilliwack Senior Secondary School. She left her imprint in the community while working at Chilliwack Taxi/Bob’s Cabs, FG Leary, Canada Trust Realty and the Seniors Resource Society just to name a few.

She will be greatly missed by her companion, David Reid, Dave’s children, Lisa, Daryl and Angie, daughter Jacquie Holding(Tony), son Jason Denham (Jennifer) and step-son Gord Denham (Gwen). Also mourning her loss are grandchildren, Meaghen, Blaike and Colin Holding; Nolan and Hannah Denham and Scott, Gord and Fawnda Denham.

Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 10:00am , from the Chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Ave. Chilliwack, BC. 604-792-1344
