Earl is survived by his loving wife Madeline (of 47 years), his sons; Steven, Bradley (Melissa nee MacDonald) and Derrick. As well as his grandchildren; Michaela, Braedyn and Haedyn; nephews, Darrell and Darren Knapp and nieces; Connie Ellis and Michelle Knapp. He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Lavina Meahan, Dennis and Patricia (nee Meahan) Knapp. Earl has a very special place in the hearts of his family and friends and was always quick with a wink and a joke.
He was a long time resident of Surrey (1950-2004) who retired to Chilliwack after working for Pirelli Cables for over two decades. He had a great love of animals and was a member of the Western Pheasant and Waterfowl Society. He was also a long time member of the Legion.
