Ed was born on Sept 11,1944 in Souris, Manitoba to Elmer and Isobel Henderson. He lived a life full of joy, love and laughter. He enjoyed gardening, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, camping and being a snowbird in the winter down south. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandsons.
Ed worked for BC Hydro for many years and enjoyed each and every one of those days. He was a very kind, generous and giving man who showed respect to each and every one he met, finding good in everyone. He loved to read, tinker in his garage, getting out on the street with his neighbors to visit. His memory and legacy of unconditional love and compassion will be a source of comfort to all who knew him.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Judy, daughter Terri-Lynn (Roddy) Russell, son Michael (Meghan), grandsons Braedon and Jordan Russell, brother Bob (Elaine) plus many nieces and nephews and special friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Ed's memory. Details will be shared with family and friends once finalized. For those who wish to honor his memory, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Mental Health.
