She was born and raised in Stettler, Alberta. Edith met her husband Ernest in Red Deer, and they married on July 15, 1961. Together they raised four children. Edith and Ernest moved to Chilliwack in 1974 where she found work at the Eden Rest Home. She was employed there for 18 years until her own health concerns led to her retirement in 1998. Edith was a long time member of the Royal Purple.
Edith is survived by her husband, Ernest and son, Ryan; her sister, Maria and brother, David as well as many nieces and nephews. Sadly she was predeceased by her children, Patricia, Trevor and Darwin.
