It is with great sadness the we announce the passing of Ted Aird at Cascade Lodge with his daughter Penny Webster at his side. He is survived by his wife Vivian, his daughter Penny, his granddaughter
Tracy Pakarinen, his great- granddaughter Mallory Ciriello, and his step children and step grandchildren.
Ted was predeceased by his parents, his son Patrick and his grandson Trenton Chadsey, and his
great-grandson Jesse Pakarinen.
Ted was the ex- president of the Royal Canadian legion Branch # 4, He was also known as the
“Whistling” Postman for many years, and then transferred over into Corrections of B.C where he stayed until his retirement.
We would like to give a special thank you to all the staff at the Cascade Lodge for taking such good care of my dad.
A celebration of Ted’s life will be held on June 7, 2014 at 2:30 pm @ “Country Park Villiage” in the Clubhouse-
45918 Knight Road in Chilliwack.
A” Poppy Service” will be held by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 4.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the SPCA in Ted’s name, as he was so fond of animals.
