Emma was predeceased by her husband Alfred of 65 years (2014); her sister, Erna Barz; and her grandson, Glen Meier, Jr.
Survived by her children: Harry & (Betty) Meier; Bettina Marlies Foster; Peter & (Rita) Meier; Ernie & (Erika) Meier; Marilyn Ruth Meier; Glen & (Cindy) Meier, Connie & (Kenton) Olson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Also survived by sisters, Gertrude & (Horst deceased) Putschew, Germany; Ursula & (Suren) Chaturvedi, Calgary, AB; brother Harry & (Monika) Barz, Germany; and many nephews, nieces and extended family.
The Celebration of Life will be at the Menno Hospital Chapel (32945 Marshall Rd., Abbotsford, B.C.) on Sunday, February 16th at 4:30 p.m.
Refreshments and visiting to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Union Gospel Mission and Mustard Seed Ministry.
