We miss Gerry at Rotary so much. His pranks, his jokes and the mischievous twinkle  in his eye. RIP Gerry.

I believe I only met Jerry once at Sheldon and Shelley's . A very kind man who was easy to talk to. Larry and I were fortunate to have met him.

Maybe you do not know me, but I am the eldest niece from the Netherlands! Daughter of Adrie , his brother. 
So  sad to hear that my youngest and last uncle has died....
It was a long time ago that we had contact, but he visited us a few times here, with Rose.
He always said: I teached you to walk and my answer was then: that's why I walk zo badly...
There was a time that I lived with his parents(my grandparents) by surcomstances and he was then like an elder brother.
I wish you a good farewell, strength in future, and tonight I will think of you all. Love, Tineke

dear Ange, Rose and family, my condolences on the loss of Gerry, I'm thinking of you at this sad time. Gerry was a wonderful man, so funny and full of life. I have fond memories of time spent with him over the years, especially our epic road trip through BC and Alberta back in 2002. May he rest in peace.

Rose and families, we are devastated to hear of Gerry’s passing.  He was such an awesome guy so full of life,  laughter and kindness.  His quick wit and  infectious personality will be remembered by all who had the good fortune to have known him and called him their friend.  We had so much fun with Gerry and Rose over the years and there was never a moment you were not laughing at his pranks and sense of humour or engaging in a deep conversation of life and current events.  He was so committed to Rose and family and their friends and we all shall miss you so much.  We will all think of you often with a huge smile on our faces.

Everyone knows Gerry Bros was a good man, but I want everyone to know he was also a good father. I never thought in August when we said goodbye it would be for the last time.
Me and Audrey would always be excited to plan our holidays to come down and spend time with Dad and Rose, seeing the happiness in their face when we got there was everything to us.
My father had a big heart and he made me a better man and a better person, he gave me laughter, friendship, guidance. He was a fun loving big giant of a man who was easy going but yet liked to cheat when it came to golf??LOL
I'm grateful for the all the time we spent together and I'm also glad I got to spend his last days with him.
Being there for him in his final moments I am happy he had someone like rose who kept by his side giving all of us unconditional love, and I believe it kept my father strong and gave him the will to keep fighting to the very end.
I love you dad, you will always be with me in my heart and mind, I will think of you every day and miss you, Love your son Rick
