My deepest condolences to the entire family. Both your parents were amazing and funny people. Herb was Barb and I'm taxi service for years when we were teens. Never forget his dodge duster. Herb also gave a loony to me for each of my children when they were born.

The MacAulay's and the Lucas' came together in July of 1968 at CFB Chilliwack in Vedder Crossing. This was my first time meeting Herb but Barb and my wife Lee had known each other since  they were young girls  in  New Glasgow NSand so for them it was a happy reunion. Herb and I (Mike) became friends because of our wives but also because we were in the same trade in the Military. That friendship has lasted right up until the day he passed on. As a matter of fact we had a short conversation via the telly just  a few days before his passing.

I've asked the Good Lord to teach Herb how to play squash as Herb taught me tennis ( not very good ) chuckle. 

To the MacAulay family please know that Lee and I will miss" Triple M" very ,very much and especially to Barb, we loved you both and will miss our visits with you two and sometimes the kids also.

Served with Herbie at CFB Ottawa during the 1975-76 time period. A dedicated and true professional in every aspects of military service. A total team player who was a joy to be around. RIP, my friend.

Living up the street from your dad and mom I always remember their smiles and my parents would talk to your parents. My mom remembered them up until she passed away. Your dad was amazing with your mom and willl be missed..❤️😘💔😪

First and foremost, I extend my heartfelt sympathies to Stephan (Sam), Barbye, and Eric. Although Herb lived a long and remarkable life, it is never easy to bid farewell to those we hold dear. Despite his small stature, Herb's larger-than-life personality left an indelible mark, and his absence will be deeply felt.

I want to express my profound gratitude to Herb for nurturing the kindest and most loving man, Sam, whom I have the privilege of calling my dad. Our connection transcends bloodlines; it is a bond of the heart.
