Hilda Fender

A celebration of remembrance of Hilda's life will take place on Monday May 15th at 1:30PM at Christ Lutheran Church, 9460 Charles St.

Hilda was born in Poland and immigrated with husband Emil to Canada in 1952 making a home in Chilliwack. Hilda treasured her family and friends with a warm love. Hilda had a smile and something kind to say to everyone. Hilda's faith and love of God were very important in her life. Hilda's work ethic, energy and spirit were nothing short of remarkable.

Hilda leaves her 2 children Richard Fender and Lilli (and Bill) MacFarlane, 3 grandchildren, Lisa Hubac, Jason MacFarlane and Ryan (and Michelle Doherty, 4 great granddaughters, Mila and Gabi Hubac and Ella and Megan Doherty, Lois and Gerry Balmer, many, many nieces and nephews in Canada, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand and the United States and life long and new friends.
