Hugo is survived by his 3 loving children, Paul (Rosa), Stuart (Christine) and Julia. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Mya, Emma, Nathaniel and Alessandro.
He was predeceased by his mother, Paula, father, Hugo and older brother, Felix.
Hugo was an avid motorcyclist, fisherman and a self-taught expert in Anthropology and North American History. Hugo was a master tradesman and easily moved into management; his excellent operational skills and down to earth approach made him a great leader. He always provided for his family and had a career to remember.
A public viewing will be held July 21, 2026, 930am, at Henderson’s Funeral Home in Chilliwack. A funeral will be held at 11am at St Mary’s Catholic Church. Hugo will be buried at St Mary’s Cemetery at 1230pm. A family reception wil be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 130pm. Donations can be made to the Humane Society.
