With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jane Kohlruss who left us after a brief battle with cancer.
Jane was born in the Netherlands and immigrated to Canada with her family as a child and lived the rest of her life in Chilliwack, BC.
Jane was pre-deceased by her husband Bob in 2021. She is survived by her daughters Jody (Jared) and Cindy, as well as her grandchildren Spencer (Erin), Lexie (Breaden), Kendall, Quinn (Randy) and Adisyn.
Jane worked for many years at Visscher Lumber and when she retired from that job she kept busy cleaning houses for people who became her friends.
Jane was a great storyteller- this was a skill she put to use regularly when she visited with her sisters or when the grandkids visited.
Many thanks to Dr. D. Joneson who kindly took mom on as a patient in her last weeks.
A Funeral Service will be held June 20th at 1:00pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home.
