Joyce graduated from Coon Rapids High School in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, in 1968. She went on to build a steady and respected working life, serving at the Royal Bank of Canada and later in Corporate Finance at Trinity Western University. In every setting, Joyce carried herself with quiet grace and a composed dignity that left a lasting impression on those who knew her.
A cherished presence in the lives of her family and community, Joyce was also deeply devoted in her faith and is now reunited with the Lord. Her devotion was reflected not only in belief, but in the steady way she lived—grounded, thoughtful, and faithful through the seasons of life.
Music was one of Joyce’s great joys. She had a deep passion for it and shared her gifts through many instruments, including guitar, piano, organ, and accordion. She also wrote songs, leaving behind melodies and words that speak to the care and reverence with which she approached the things she loved.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Mary Wiebe. She leaves behind her two siblings: Marilyn (Jerry) Peltzer and Evangeline Wiebe.
Joyce was devout in her faith and is now reunited with the Lord. Her life reflected devotion in its truest sense—steadfast, sincere, and grounded in what mattered most.
