Be at peace Kevin, I will always remember you

I was so upset to hear of Kevin's passing. He and I used to work together. He was one of the finest bus drivers Lynch had. I will not forget you Kevin.. Be at peace

Kevin was the first person I met at Collingwood, and I was immediately welcomed by his generosity and kindness. He never failed to ask how my day went, and was always genuine in our conversations. His gentle and caring soul touched all of us, and Kevin always made an effort to make our day better either with his cookies, words, or in the way he cut through gridlock. Kevin spoke often of his family and they were always on his mind. I am sad to hear of Kevin's passing, and I send my deepest condolences to his family.

Words can't express how very sad I was to hear of Kevin's passing and what an honor it was to know him. He always made sure we were happy!!

Kevin was a warm, generous, caring man and he made the daily shuttle runs to and from Park Royal a real adventure.  He was always full of life and interesting stories and I was sad and shocked to hear of his passing.   God bless you, Kevin.

Kevin was just one of the nicest people I ever met. He Drove the Collingwood parking bus for me over a 2 year period. He was such a pleasure to talk with every day and was always so positive about his work, life and everything. He even made the effort to decorate his bus at Christmas to raise everybody's spirits at the start of their day. That was Kevin!

Kevin- you always found a way to put human back in humanity and you always seemed to love life, even when it kicked you down.  You were a kind and generous soul in a world with two few of them.  You will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

For those of us at Collingwood School who were regular Park Royal shuttlers over the last two years there is little doubt that Kevin Forsyth was a very welcomed figure in our daily commute.  He was the type of fellow who was more likely to ask you how you were whenever you met. In those two years of travelling up and down the hill he got to know about my family. Though he had never met them he knew my wife and daughters by name. He got to know what they were interested in those things that gave them heart.  He would get the weekend update on a Monday by asking about Meghan's soccer match or Kayleigh's basketball game or whether or not my wife had arrived in Camrose for her audit safe & sound.  He asked because he was genuinely interested in making a connection with each and every single person he met.  I am hard-pressed to give you the name of a more gentle, kinder soul and my life is all the more richer for having been afforded the chance to know him.  I suspect that a good number who were fortunate to have known Kevin feel exactly the same way.

Kevin was a genuinely caring and kind individual who made a real connection with my 6 year old son when he drove us to and from school on the "Park Royal shuttle" for two years.  We all loved and appreciated his sense of humour, his easygoing nature (except in traffic, ha ha), his interest in how we were doing.  I will always remember our conversations, and how well he treated Carlos.  Wendy, he constantly spoke of you and the kids with love and pride.  He will be deeply missed.  Our heartfelt condolences and warm wishes go out to you.

A lovely man who faced difficulties with a gentle smile and an iron-clad fortitude. I will treasure the memories of our many trips together up and down Taylor Way and the stops at each end that allowed us to tackle the daily crossword puzzle, a few laughs and the sharing of personal observations on the many travails and beauty points that life had to offer! You made the world a better place for many of us, Kevin!!
